This was the 14 th EVD outbreak in DRC and marked the third in a series of outbreaks in Equateur province since 2018. On April 23, the Ministry of Health of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) declared an outbreak of EVD in Mbandaka city, Equateur Province. Reported number of deaths and percentage of fatal cases: 5 (100%).The outbreak was declared over on September 27, 2022, with only one confirmed case. A specimen was collected and tested positive at the Beni Referral Hospital laboratory and later confirmed at the DRC’s national laboratory in Goma – the Institut National de la Recherche Biomédicale (INRB). This announcement came after a fatal case was discovered in Beni Health Zone, one of the epicenters of DRC’s 10 th outbreak in 2018-2020. On August 22, 2022, the Ministry of Health announced an outbreak of Ebola virus disease (EVD) in North Kivu Province. Reported number of deaths and percentage of fatal cases: 1 (100%).The outbreak was declared over on January 11, 2023, with 142 confirmed cases (and 22 probable) and 55 confirmed deaths.ĭEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO (formerly ZAIRE) Five of the six have been caused by the species Sudan ebolavirus. This marks the sixth Ebola outbreak in Uganda. A sample from the patient was sent to the VHF laboratory at the Uganda Virus Research Institute, where Ebola disease (species Sudan ebolavirus) was confirmed. This announcement came after a patient with a suspected viral hemorrhagic fever (VHF) was identified and isolated at Mubende Regional Referral Hospital. On September 20, 2022, the Ministry of Health confirmed an outbreak of Ebola (Sudan virus) in Mubende District, in western Uganda. Reported number of deaths and percentage of fatal cases: 55 (34%).“The new options that we’re introducing here should allow these players to make specific, tailored adjustments to the game to remove the barrier preventing them from having that experience, rather than introducing arbitrary difficulty options,” a developer said.
The developers said while they initially imagined Dead Cells to be “tough but fair,” this was barring some players from playing the game.

There’s a lot of new features and you can check it all out in the patch notes. The assist mode will bring completely new options, like an “auto-hit” mode that will target nearby enemies, and a continue mode that will allow you to restart each run at the beginning of the biome rather starting over entirely.
The accessibility options will help players with visual cues and mobility, whereas the assist mode will allow players to tweak the difficulty of the game.

The update will add two main sets of options to the game - accessibility and an assist mode - and it’s live on Windows PC and consoles now. The “Breaking Barriers” update brings a suite of new accessibility features and difficulty levels to the game fives years after it initially released in early access.īreaking Barriers is “all about making Dead Cells more accessible to everyone,” the developers explained in a video. Dead Cells, the high-difficulty Metroidvania rogue-like from Motion Twin, just got a hefty update.
